Did a good job. Would I use them again? Absolutely. From now on my rental properties will be taken care of by these folks.
I hired Kitchen and Bath Wizards to remodel my kitchen for the sale of my house. Not only did they do an EXCELLENT job, they cleaned up every day and left my house intact. They also finished ahead of schedule. The owner came by to do the "final check" and the small things he found were taken care of immediately. We love our kitchen so much my husband and I have decided to stay in our house! This after we got an amazing offer to sell at purchase price after the buyer saw the kitchen! I would highly recommend Kitchen and Bath Wizards to do your remodel as I did. I didn't want to pay the high cost of replacing good wood cabinetry just because I was tired of the color and Kitchen and Bath Wizards made that possible!
Another great job! Years ago they refinished my kitchen cabinets and I was very pleased. This time they 'recolored' my bathroom cabinets. The old paint was peeling from my own lousy paint job 18 years ago. They stripped and then sprayed the new coating (white again). Shannon came back today to do the touch-ups and he went above and beyond! Even fixed several nicks on my counter top (not their doing) and left a small jar of paint for future touch-ups. All the crew were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I will continue to recommend K&BW!!
These people surely are wizards because the difference in the job before and after was truly magical! We had our kitchen cabinets refaced, with one additional cabinet added over the refrigerator, and our countertop replaced. We also had pull-outs added to the lower cabinets and pantry. The kitchen went from cheap builder grade to first class custom in only a few days. The alder wood doors were done by a true craftsman. Mark was an instant hit with us and the contractors he sent were not only very talented, but also very professional and respectful and they cleaned up well each day. We had zero issues and will use them again to tackle our bathrooms. I would definitely recommend K&BW.
We had them team rip out our kitchen and replace the cabinets and countertops, plus redo the tile floors and add a tile backsplash. They did a great job and were very professional. The owner, Mark, is a good guy who enjoys his job and has lots of good ideas. He worked closely with us, providing many different options to help us come to a solution that matched both our desires and our budget. Once the project was going, he checked in frequently, and was always willing to help. We did have some issues along the way, but Mark always made it right. His team was friendly and helpful too, they were all guys that worked well together. We had an excellent Project Manager and Carpenter. I think the best thing I can say is that they wanted to help me after they had my money, not just before! I will work with them again
When my husband and I first decided that our kitchen needed an overhaul, we faced the prospect with fear and trembling. New to home renovation, we had only one other experience with a major project…which was a nightmare. “Never again,” we cried after that ordeal was over. Fast forward to winter 2010. I could no longer stand our white painted cabinets and formica countertops, original to our 1978 home. So, we began the nerve-wracking process of researching remodeling companies and collecting bids. We considered everything from the big box home improvement stores, to general contractors, and even to doing the project ourselves. After a thorough bid process and obsessive research online and through the Better Business Bureau, we decided to go with Kitchen and Bath Wizards. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made! Our relationship with Kitchen and Bath Wizards began when owner Mark Merrett visited our home to take measurements for a bid. He was prompt, friendly, and thorough. The bid was emailed to us shortly and was quite competitive. We put the project on the back burner through the holidays and then got serious again in mid January. By that time, we knew we wanted to work with Kitchen and Bath Wizards, but the bid was still a little over our modest budget. So, we talked to Mark about our options. He was incredibly responsive and helpful, coming up with creative solutions to save money and make the best use of our limited dollars. We signed the contract and, the same day, went to a recommended granite yard to pick out a slab (Triton Granite). We also picked the wood and finish for our cabinet re-facing in Mark’s Oak Forest office. Mark was upfront in giving us a realistic timeline of when the materials would arrive and when we could expect workmen to come to our home to take further measurements. Not only was his timeline accurate, at times the materials or workmen even arrived prior to when he said they would! Finally, all the materials arrived and it was time to start the project. Mark told us the project would take roughly two weeks, and he explained what we could expect day to day and which workers would be coming to our home. Every single worker he sent out was reliable, friendly, professional, and took pride in their work. (Thank you – Oliver, Shannon, Sergio and Gary!) I would come home from the office at lunch each day to check on the project, and more than once saw them redoing some part of the re-facing if they did not think it was perfect. They also patiently answered any questions I had. Last but not least, they cleaned up each day when they left. The work was finished in a week and two days, well before the 2-week schedule they had given me. The final result is a kitchen that looks like it cost a fortune…at a great price! Kitchen and Bath Wizards exceeded all our expectations, and we plan to hire them again for future remodeling projects. The thought of more home renovations no longer scares us, but is actually a pleasant prospect!
I needed work done on my bathroom to refurbish the tub and remodel the sink cabinets. My parents used them years ago, and was still very happy with the results. After they finished the work I also was thrilled with the final results.Everyone that came to the house to do the work was very professional and courteous.
Fiberglass Tub Repair & Metal Tile Trim Pieces
I worked with Mark throughtout both of my requests for fiberglass tub repair patch and the ordering of schluter strips. Let me start by saying the fiberglass repair was on a very modern freestanding tub in very difficult location. I have to say I was very pleased with the end result and with the time and attention they paid to to make surface look as close to the original as possible. The ordering process for the schluter strips had some rough patches as far as shipping was concerned which had to do with the schluter manufacture losing my order. Even though it was not Marks fault I have to say he did a amazing job of getting the company to overnight new product immediately.
